bonnie’s scrapbook friends retreats

Oh how I love our retreats!! I get so much joy spending this time sharing creativity, inspiration and friendship with each of you! I love providing a space where you can relax, craft and make new friends!

I host 3 retreats each year, These events are held in January, April, and November. I have recently moved all 3 retreats to the DoubleTree by Hilton in Binghamton, NY. The venue is amazing!! I just love it!!

At the DoubleTree we craft in the spacious Grand Ballroom during the January and November retreats. We have access to the area just outside the ballroom where there are tables to share your meals and where we hold our classes. The hotel rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. There are several local restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. You can use Grub Hub, Uber Eats or delivery service if you choose. There is also a small restaurant right in the hotel that had great food options!

The Spring Retreat will be held in the Grand Riverside at the DoubleTree. This room is smaller, but we hope to move into the bigger space in the future.

Typically, the retreats begin on a Wednesday and end on Monday! That gives you opportunity to craft 6 days and 5 nights! You have the option to come for as many days as you like and select the days that fit your schedule! You can commute, choose a single hotel room or share with friends.

The retreat fee is dependent on current rates and contract pricing. Thus, this amount may change slightly each retreat. Your retreat fee includes your 8’ craft space, welcome gifts, hospitality table with coffee, water, ice, and snacks, and a Make-n-take project. If you are attending with friends, you and your friends will be seated together.

At all the retreats there is a space for shared snacks and beverages. No meals are included. There are plenty of local food options as well as a restaurant/bar in the hotel.

I typically offer a variety of classes at the retreats. These classes are optional. Many of the classes offered are free and some may have a fee for kits or supplies. There will be a sign up for these classes. If you choose a class that requires a kit or fee, you will need to register and prepay for these classes.

There is a small store that is set up at each of the retreats. You will find a variety of items there including patterned papers, cardstock, glitter paper, adhesives, embellishments and paper packs. There are albums and memory protectors. There are precut page kits and workshop kits available. Its a great little store filled with a variety of your favorite scrapbooking products!!

I also bring a variety of stamps, thin cuts and other tools for your use. These items are there for your convenience and should be treated with care. You may use them at your station but need to be sure they are returned.
